Nose Simulation Guide

Use simulation tools to preview and adjust the patient’s desired nose shape before surgery.

❕For best simulation results, use a fully side-profile photo where the opposite eyebrow, eyelashes, and philtrum are not visible.

Basic Features

  1. Show Original Image – Compare before & after results in real time.

  2. Edit Controller On/Off – Hide or show the controller for clearer view.

  3. Simulation Result On/Off & Transparency Slider – Check the changes by adjusting visibility.

  4. Implant Nose Control Curve Editor – Modify the starting position of the nose contour.

  5. Mode Selection – Switch between Basic Mode (full nose contour) and Tip Mode (detailed nose tip adjustment).

  6. Reset Simulation Data – Resets both Basic & Tip Mode data.

  7. Click Save – Apply the final simulation results.


Basic Mode (Full Nose Contour)

  1. Select Basic Mode - Adjust the overall nose shape.

  2. Starting Point (Movable) – Adjust the starting point of the contour below the default line. Use the Implant Control Curve Editor to modify the initial position

  3. Simulation Line – Preview the modified contour

  4. Handle Dragging – Adjust the curve using draggable handles (simulation applies immediately).

  5. Nose Tip Point – Modify the shape of the nose tip.


Tip Mode (Detailed Nose Tip Adjustment)

  1. Switch to Tip Mode – Make detailed modifications to the nose tip.

  2. Fixed Start Point –The starting point of the nose contour is not adjustable in this mode.

  3. Handle Dragging – Refine the nose tip curve by dragging control handles.

  4. Fixed End Point – The end point of the nose tip is not movable.

⚠ Important Notice

  • Switching back to Basic Mode without saving will discard all nose tip modifications (changes are not automatically synced).

  • Basic Mode → Tip Mode edits: Synced ✅

  • Tip Mode → Basic Mode: Not synced ❌

  • Save before switching to Basic Mode to continue editing the full contour after tip adjustments.


Implant Control Curve Editor (Adjust Nose Line Starting Position)

  1. Drag downward to modify the starting position of the control curve.

  2. Preview Simulation Line – View the new contour before applying changes.

  3. Reset Start Position – Reverts the starting position of the implant to its original setting.

  4. Save changes — saving resets all previous simulations and starts a new simulation using modified start position.

💡Tips for Best Results

  • Before making any modifications, first check and confirm the nose start position to prevent losing previous edits.

  • Use transparency adjustment to fine-tune how natural the modification appears.

  • For complex edits, adjust the full contour first in Basic Mode, then fine-tune the nose tip separately in Tip Mode.
